One of my favorite techniques to invite compassion, love, and clarity, is the It’s OK technique.

A practice of radical self-acceptance, meeting negative thoughts not with judgment, but with love.
It is natural to have negative feelings.
It is normal to not have everything figured out.
It is natural to have things in your life you want to change.
That is part of being human.
Having negative feelings, not having everything figured out, and having things in your life you do not like is not an indicator that something is wrong with you.
It’s OK Technique ... I love myself anyway.
The purpose of this technique is to bring relief from negative thoughts and welcome in the clarity, wisdom, and love that is there for you.
Just as we might for a child or a dear friend, instead of criticizing them, we would offer a loving ear, a softer perspective, information, and guidance.
When we let it be OK, softness comes. Pressure lightens. Lighter thoughts become available.
