What Is The
CALM BREATH?
A Double Inhale Sigh
+ Positive Thoughts
& Feelings

1️⃣ Two sharp inhales through the nose (do you best to do deep belly breaths, but don't worry if they seem shallow. You will build up your muscles over time and eventually will be able to take in deeper breaths)
2️⃣ A long, slow exhale through the mouth (let it spill out effortlessly. We are going for fluid and powerful like an ocean wave.)
3️⃣ Repeat until deep relaxation settles in. That might take a few minutes to 10-minutes if you're really overwhelmed or stressed. (Eventually you can catch your stress early on before it get's out of control & recenter with this simple tool more quickly.)
🌟 Why It Works: This breath technique resets your nervous system, helping you release stress and restore balance fast. (Then just by doing this breath as I guide you into hypnosis, you'll have those positive feelings you've learned to associate with the breath automatically come in when you do it.)
Guidance & Important Warnings
Listen to Your Body

If you have epilepsy, experience panic attacks, or have any respiratory or medical conditions, please check with your healthcare provider before practicing this technique.
If you ever feel lightheaded, slow your breathing, pause, or stop—your body is always guiding you.
⚠️ WARNING: If you ever feel like you’re struggling to breathe, stop immediately! When you are struggling for breath, whether it's due to a health condition, exercise or FOR any reason, this isn't the time to use this technique.
This breath can help build up your lungs capacity, and help you become a stronger breather.
Let It Be Okay if It Feels Awkward at First

New breathing techniques can feel unfamiliar at first, and that’s completely normal.
Give yourself grace as you practice. Relax into any uncomfortable feelings that show up.
You might be tempted to revert to another breathing pattern you know but I urge you to give this a fair shake. This has been backed by science to get results.
No Need to Be Perfect — Just Breathe

If you accidentally breathe in through your mouth or exhale through your nose, it’s okay!
Breathing itself is a good thing.
Do your best to relax into it—the rhythm will come with time.
💙 Be gentle with yourself, trust the process, and do your best to relax keep practicing
